Cecile’s fire lights up every time she hears a woman saying ‘I would love to, but I don’t think I can’. People often describe her as bright, confident, driven, passionate, inspiring, honest. As a Career Coach, she helps women achieve their professional goals in a way that is empowering and fits with their lives. She is passionate about being the best version of yourself by leveraging personal confidence, focus, smart thinking and a belief in possibilities. Her biggest reward is to see talented women grow, develop their potential, and lead fulfilling lives.

Cecile built a successful corporate career over 22 years, where she held management positions in the automotive, beauty, luxury and FMCG industries. Working her way up from France to Australia, she built her expertise in strategy, marketing, customer insights & brand communications. She developed her team members & colleagues to be promoted and thrive in their work. Today she brings all the learning from her experience to women who want a successful career and need further direction or support.

She delivers value by supporting women in reaching their goals and working through their professional challenges, whilst providing a down-to-earth perspective. Her areas of expertise are career clarity & advancement, building confidence, leadership skills, and work/life balance. Her business The Career Catch Up offers blog articles, podcast episodes, coaching solutions and free resources to help women grow in their careers.

As much as she values professional success, Cecile sees work as an integrated part of life more broadly and is a firm believer in balance. As a working mother, she blends her two cultures to enable her to have both an interesting career and personal time. She is inspiring other working mothers to return to work confidently and to manage the challenges they encounter. As a coach, she helps women on or post maternity leave reintegrate the workforce in a way that works both for them and their businesses.

Cecile is fortunate to call herself a French-Australian, after growing up in France and moving to Melbourne with only a suitcase and a dream at 21. She lives with her daughter Clémence who is 10. She loves balancing parenthood, work, and her personal time doing yoga or exploring homewares stores.
